Witham Carnival Charity Work
Witham Carnival Association works hard to support local charities. For 2011 Our principal charity that we will be supporting is St John’s Ambulance(Witham Branch - New Ambulance Fund). We also support the following organisations:
- Witham Brownies
- Witham Kids Club
- Essex Air Ambulance
- Headway (Colchester)
- BUDS
- St John’s Ambulance
- Witham Puppet Festival
- The Royal British Legion

Our local MP (Priti Patel), Braintree District Council Chairman (Janet Money) Town Mayor (John Goodman) & Lion’s President (and also organiser of the event -Tony Stote) all supporting Pudsey and Blush with the Witham Carnival Court for Children in Need 2011.
With kind thanks to our local Witham branch of Domino’s, a cheque for £320.10 was presented to Brainwave on Saturday 30 July 2011. This was raised through pizza sales in the park on Carnival day. We want to thank Domino’s for their excellent support!
Throughout the year, we will also conduct collections on behalf of Marie Curie and Farleigh Hospice
